Pickup kit for Stratocaster® style middle pickup - reverse wind, reverse polarity

Reverse wound reverse polarity (RWRP) refers to the direction of the pickup magnets and copper winding.  In order to achieve a full and hum-canceling tone when combining pickups (switch position 2 and 4 on a standard Strat®), one pickup must have the copper wire wound in the opposite direction and have the polarity of the magnets reversed.

Kit Includes

• Flatwork with AlNiCo 5 magnets installed
• White cover
• Vintage cloth covered lead wires
• Mounting screws and tubing

*Pickup kit does not include copper pickup wire

*RWRP is stamped on the bottom of the pickup flat to distinguish the difference between pickups.
